The pages on this website will be updated, throughout the school year, to keep students and parents aware of school assignments, projects, and upcoming/ongoing classroom activities.
Questions, concerns, and suggestions may be e-mailed to me at: lbutterworth@olmacademy.org. (Do not use the School Notes email address). All correspondences will be answered within 24 hours (To the best of my ability.) Monday through Friday.
Any pressing or time sensitive questions should be phoned in to the main office at: 201-391-3838.
My regular extra help days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (I'm flexible but please contact me in advance to discuss and make arrangements.)
Remember that recycling begins with you! Every bit helps! Thank you for sending in supplies for our homeroom.
Please send in tissues, wipes, and hand cleaner for the classroom if you haven't already. (If possible, look for environmentally safe and non-animal tested products.)
Students, please be mindful of what should and should not be worn to school as part of the uniform code and refer to the student handbook if you have questions.
We collect boxtops and educational labels so please send them in whenever you can.
It would be greatly appreciated if parents and guardians would please remember to send a note and call the school nurse when your child is going to be or has been absent or will visit a high school, has an injury, or needs cough drops, or suffers from allergies. Medicine administered at home needs to be shared with the nurse to prevent and/or handle health problems as they occur.
Remember, if a student is absent and/or leaves early or is on vacation, the student is responsible to get caught up on notes, assignments, and tests. Make those arrangements with the teachers. Utilize the School Notes website to see what what missed. E-mail or leave a message for the teacher via the office if you have any questions.
